Dark navy waxed cotton hat. The navy shows through the black as it creases, adding a delightful ‘distressed’ patina. and a battered look as if it has survived centuries.
The crown is lower and the rim narrower than the canvas hat, reminiscent of a crumpled ‘Stove Pipe’ hat seen through the London fog, circa 1800 with a slight touch of Gene Kelly’s fedora re: ‘Singing in the Rain.
Suitable for damp rainy days and can be folded and placed in your pocket or bag when not on your head.
For the romantic at heart and the practical of mind.
