Keeping warm and dry :
Dark Navy ‘Gunpowder’ oiled cotton hat worn with Wool Twill workers Kimono. Under neath is a sanforised Irish linen shift and under that an unbleached muslin shirt. Boots by William Lennon. Photograph by Nemo at www.nemoroberts .com.
Two new hats for Autumn
The ‘Gunpowder’: a similar shape to the off white canvas hat with a slightly lower crown and narrower rim (it just looked better the way)
‘The Stove Pipe’ which has straighter sides and narrower rim similar to the shape of a top hat. Both are waterproof and able to be scrunched up and put into your pocket when not in use.
The fabric is a thick oiled cotton, dark navy almost black showing the blue as it is scrunched giving it a delightful patina.

Well that was was a lot of fun! People came and saw and some of them left with purchases and some have kept in touch .. we hope we can find another venue to do this again in the Autumn.
Come and see us , we have an eclectic mix of clothes and art and jewellery.
I shall be sharing a venue with Lucy Casson, Cecilie Telle, Laura Knight, Buddug Humphreys,Window135 and Maureen Thompson at 143 Bellenden Road Se15 on the 18,19,20,21st May.
This is a rare opportunity to see the work of these unique artists.
Very satisfied with progress on my new ‘Good Fit Jeans’ they offer a comfortable crutch and plenty of movement, four good deep pockets and strong felled seams throughout. They look good under the SC ‘Shift’
We have revisited and revised the collection and taken some fresh updated photographs. We shall be uploaded these images onto the site over the next few weeks.
